What is Solar Technology?

Solar technologies capture and utilize sunlight to generate energy. While various types of solar technologies are available, at Capital Solar, we primarily focus on Solar Photovoltaics (PV), which have proven to be reliable and effective for over 20 years.

Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Systems

Solar photovoltaic (PV) systems convert sunlight into DC (direct current) electricity through a process known as the PV effect. This DC energy can be used to charge batteries in off-grid applications or be fed into a grid-tied inverter to produce AC power that supplies your home or the grid.

Most of our systems are set up as either grid-connected with a net metering arrangement or as off-grid solutions for homes.
